About the Provider
Dr. Manasi Patwardhan, MD FACOG, is a board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician with an expertise in obstetric ultrasonography, fetal echocardiography, antepartum fetal health assessment, caring for high risk pregnancies, umbilical cord blood sampling and amniocentesis.
She completed her OBGYN residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, PA and a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the Perinatal Research Branch/Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She moved to the Lowcountry where she joined Charleston Maternal Fetal Medicine.
She has received the “Best Oral Presentation” Award for her presentation on “Dynamic myometrial changes in the upper and the lower uterine segments during the third stage of labor” at ISUOG, 2012, Copenhagen, Denmark during her fellowship. She has been a reviewer for multiple manuscripts for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation. She is also a co-author of “Early evaluation of the Fetal Heart.”
She was awarded membership of MENSA, which is the largest, oldest high IQ society in the world at 15 years of age.
